Rifagut 400 MG Description

Rifagut 400 tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat hepatic encephalopathy, diarrhoea, and irritable bowel syndrome associated with diarrhoea in patients 18 years and above. It contains rifaximin as the active substance, which works by preventing bacterial protein synthesis, thereby eliminating the bacteria and treating hepatic encephalopathy. It is important to take Rifagut 400 tablet in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You can take it with or without food. Do not stop taking this medicine, even if you feel better within a few days. Always finish the course of prescribed antibiotic medicines for effective treatment.
