Medical Description

Montair LC tablets relieve allergic rhinitis symptoms, including a runny or stuffy nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. This combination medicine contains montelukast and levocetirizine, which belong to the anti-allergic class of medicine. The medicine works by blocking the release of chemical substances responsible for producing allergic symptoms.

Allergic rhinitis is an allergic response to allergens such as pollen, dust or mould. It causes irritation in your nose and other symptoms like sneezing, etc. Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that affects an individual's quality of life and, if left untreated, can contribute to asthma, otitis media and sinusitis. You can possibly avoid allergens to reduce the associated symptoms. Also can take prescribed medicine to help ease it.

Montair LC should be taken as directed by the doctor, in the correct doses and for the exact duration as prescribed. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Your doctor may advise you to take Montair LC tablet, preferably at bedtime, as it may cause dizziness.
