Medical Description
Montair LC tablet is used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis symptoms, including a runny or stuffy nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic symptoms. This combination medicine contains montelukast and levocetirizine, which belong to the anti-allergic class of medicine. Montair LC works by blocking the release of chemical substances responsible for producing allergic symptoms.
Common side effects of this tablet include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. The majority of these are temporary and usually resolve on their own over time. If you are concerned about any of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
Montair LC should be taken as directed by the doctor, in the correct doses and for the exact duration as prescribed. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Your doctor may advise you to take Montair LC tablet, preferably at bedtime, as it may cause dizziness.
Montelukast and levocetirizine are active ingredients of Telekast L, Montina L, Odimont Lc, Montek LC tablet and Monticope tablets.
While taking this medicine, you may experience fatigue or dizziness (use caution when driving). Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
