Taking Dexona tablet with the oral Typhoid Vaccine holds back the immune response that is supposed to keep the vaccine's live weakened bacteria in check. Those vaccine germs can then multiply and cause a real typhoid-like illness instead of protecting you.

Phenytoin speeds up the enzymes that remove Dexona tablet, while Dexona tablet can in turn lower Phenytoin levels, so each medicine undermines the other. Your inflammation control and your seizure control can both weaken at the same time.

Dexona tablet changes both the making of clotting factors and the speed at which your body breaks down the blood thinner Warfarin, and the two effects pull in opposite directions. The result is genuinely unpredictable, with the INR rising in some people and falling in others.

Carbamazepine speeds up the same liver enzymes that break down Dexona tablet, so the steroid leaves your body faster than it should. Dexona tablet becomes noticeably less effective even though nothing about your dose has changed.

Ketoconazole blocks the liver enzyme that removes Dexona tablet, so more steroid stays circulating from every dose you take. Side effects such as facial swelling, raised blood sugar and mood changes become likely at a dose you tolerated well before.

Dexona tablet lowers the potassium in your blood, and Digoxin grips its target pump in the heart more tightly when potassium is low. A Digoxin dose that was safe before can start causing a dangerous, irregular heartbeat.

Dexona tablet tells your liver to release more sugar and makes your tissues resist insulin, working directly against Metformin. Diabetes control commonly slips during a steroid course even though your Metformin dose has not changed at all.

Itraconazole blocks the enzyme that normally disposes of Dexona tablet, so more of the steroid stays in your body than intended. The risk of steroid side effects such as swelling, raised blood sugar and mood changes rises through the antifungal course.

Aspirin damages the stomach lining and weakens the platelets that would seal a bleed, while Dexona tablet slows repair of the same tissue. Stopping the steroid later can also push aspirin levels up, adding a second problem at the end of the course.
