Medical Description
Zerodol-SP tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. The primary use of Zerodol-SP tablet is to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling of muscles, joints, and bones in arthritis, spondylitis and sports injuries. It is also used after operations and surgeries for relieving pain, inflammation and swelling. Zerodol-SP tablet contains a combination of three medicines, namely aceclofenac, paracetamol and serratiopeptidase.
This medicine should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Swallow it with a glass of water, with or after food, to avoid stomach problems. Before using Zerodol SP tablet, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history. Some other medicines containing similar compositions are Signoflam tablet, Acemiz S tablet, and Aceclotrue Sp.

Contraindications of ZERODOL SP STRIP OF 10 TABLETS
- If you have an allergy to Paracetamol, Aceclofenac, Serratiopeptidase or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- If you have ever experienced severe allergic reactions upon the use of any pain killer such as ibuprofen or aspirin.
- If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers or bleeding in any part of your digestive system.
- If you are suffering from any heart disease like heart failure and high blood pressure.
- If your kidney or liver is not functioning properly.
- If you are pregnant (especially after the 3rd month of pregnancy).

- You are an alcoholic and concomitant use of this medicine can damage the liver.
- You have disorders related to blood, like clotting problems and anaemia.
- You experience skin rashes & lesions after taking Zerodol-SP tablets.
- If you are an elderly patient taking diuretics or have kidney disorders, then this medicine can increase the risk of kidney failure. Your doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.

Interactions with other medicines
- Do not take any other medicines containing Paracetamol or Aceclofenac while taking Zerodol-SP, as there is a risk of liver damage.
- If you are taking medicines for high blood pressure, this medicine can interfere with their blood pressure-lowering effects.
- Medicines like water pills can lead to kidney damage when taken along with Zerodol-SP tablets.
- Caution is needed if you are taking medicines to treat heart failure, lithium and methotrexate.
- Medicines used to modify immune responses during organ transplants, like ciclosporin & tacrolimus, can result in kidney damage if taken with this medicine.
- There is an increased risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding if taken concomitantly with steroids or other pain relief medicines like Aspirin.
- There is a bleeding risk if you take blood-thinning medicines like Warfarin and Coumarin.
- Increased risk of fits if you take Zerodol SP tablet and antibiotics like Levofloxacin and Ciprofloxacin.
- If you are taking medicines to treat diabetes, be cautious about symptoms of low glucose levels like sweating, anxiety, fast heartbeat and hunger pangs.
- Medicines used to treat fits, seizures & depression, like Phenobarbital, Carbamazepine, Phenytoin and Clonazepam, should be taken with caution.
