Sinarest New Tablet

• The primary use of Sinarest tablets is to relieve multiple symptoms, such as a runny nose, fever, and sneezing, commonly associated with the flu, colds, and allergies.
• Sinarest tablet unblocks your stuffy nose (acts as a decongestant) by shrinking swollen blood vessels in your nasal passages, making it easier for you to breathe.
• In some cases, it provides excellent relief from allergy symptoms, such as constant sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal or throat itching.
• The paracetamol in the new Sinarest tablet composition helps reduce fever and ease headaches and body aches associated with a cold.
• Adjunct with antibacterials in sinusitis, tonsillitis, and otitis media.

• If you have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to paracetamol, phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine, or any other component or ingredient of the Sinarest new tablet.
• If you are suffering from severe high blood pressure (hypertension) or serious heart disease.
• If you are taking or have recently taken (within the last 14 days) a type of antidepressant called an MAO (monoamine oxidase) inhibitor.
• If you have severe liver disease or kidney failure.
• Sinarest should not be used in children below 2 years of age.
• Sinarest new Tablet contains Paracetamol and therefore should not be used in conjunction with other Paracetamol-containing products.
• Sinarest new Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney or liver disorders, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular problems, epilepsy, and closed-angle glaucoma
• Drug interactions may occur on concomitant administration of Sinarest new Tablet with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants, beta-adrenergic agents, and methyldopa, reserpine and veratrum alkaloids

Other General Warnings

• You have a history of liver disease, kidney problems, or heart conditions.
• You have high blood pressure, glaucoma, or an overactive thyroid gland.
• You are suffering from an enlarged prostate or have difficulty urinating.
• You have a history of asthma or other breathing problems.
• You have diabetes or epilepsy/seizures.
• You taking any other medications, particularly sedatives, tranquillizers, or other cold and allergy remedies.

• For the Sinarest new tablet dosage for adults, the usual recommendation is one tablet taken 2 to 3 times a day, or as directed by your doctor.
• It is essential to maintain a gap of at least 4-6 hours between doses.
• Swallow the Sinarest tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
• You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a meal can help prevent stomach upset.
• Do not use this medicine for more than 3-5 days without consulting a doctor. If your symptoms do not improve, consult a doctor.
• Elderly should not take this medicine without consulting their doctor.

• Store Sinarest tablets at room temperature (below 30°C), in a cool, dry place.
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Always keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not use the tablets after the expiry date mentioned on the strip.
• Dispose of unused or expired medicine responsibly. Ask your pharmacist about proper disposal methods.

• The most common side effect of Sinarest tablets is drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or any task that requires focus after taking it.
• Drink plenty of water and fluids to help with dry mouth and to stay hydrated during a cold.
• Do not take the Sinarest tablet with any other products containing paracetamol to avoid an overdose.
• Avoid alcohol completely while you are on this medication to prevent excessive drowsiness and liver damage.

How Does It Work?

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2mg): This is an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, providing relief from allergic symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, watery eyes, and itching.
