It is used to treat acid reflux, also known as GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Pantocid DSR helps in relieving the symptoms of heartburn, indigestion, chest pain, discomfort and irritation associated with acid reflux. Pantocid DSR is also used for the treatment of peptic ulcers, stomach discomfort, acidity, etc.

GERD is a condition in which content from the stomach and acid flows back to the food pipe, causing irritation and heartburn. Pantakind Dsr, Pan D, Pantodac Dsr, and Pantosec Dsr are some other capsules with pantoprazole and domperidone. This medicine works by reducing the formation of acid in the stomach.
