• If you are allergic to vildagliptin, dapagliflozin or any other ingredient of Vylda D Tablet.

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Low blood sugar
• Shakiness

Other General Warnings

• You are taking other anti-diabetic medicines like sulphonylureas. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
• You have kidney disease or are on dialysis.
• You have liver disease or heart failure.
• You had or have a disease of the pancreas.
• You develop blisters or ulcers on your foot while taking Vildamac Dp Tablet. Talk to your doctor immediately.
• You are below 18 years of age.

• Take Vylda D Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
• Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
• Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

How Does It Work?

• Vylda D Tablet contains a combination of vildagliptin and dapagliflozin as active ingredients. Vildagliptin indirectly enhances the activity of certain chemicals in the body that raise insulin levels following a meal. Dapagliflozin inhibits a specific protein in the kidneys known as sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT-2), which is responsible for reabsorbing glucose (sugar) from urine back into the blood. This process facilitates the elimination of sugar through urine, thus lowering blood sugar levels.

Interactions with other medicines

• Inform your doctor about all other medicines, herbs or supplements that you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• The use of Vylda D Tablet with diuretics like furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide (used to manage fluid accumulation) may increase the risk of dehydration and low blood pressure.
• This medicine, when used together with insulin and insulin secretagogues (sulphonylurea), may cause extremely low blood sugar levels.
• Vylda D Tablet taken along with ACE inhibitors may increase the risk of angioedema (painless swelling under the skin).
• The effectiveness of this medicine may be decreased when combined with thiazides (used to manage fluid retention), corticosteroids (used to manage inflammation), thyroid products, and sympathomimetics (nasal decongestants for treating allergies and conjunctivitis).
