Medical Description
Losar 50 tablet is an antihypertensive medicine. It is used to treat high blood pressure. This medicine also helps to reduce other heart problems. It contains losartan as its active ingredient. Losar 50 tablets should be taken in the exact dose and duration as directed by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at the same time every day to gain optimal results. The doctor may also suggest avoiding potassium supplements during the treatment because they may raise potassium levels in the bloodstream. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history. Adopting some diet and lifestyle modifications such as exercising regularly, stopping smoking and alcohol intake and reducing the amount of salt in your diet, along with this medicine, can help you better control and lower the raised blood pressure. Repace 50 tablet, Cosart 50 tablet, Losakind 50 tablet, Covance 50 tablet, Ltk 50 tablet and Losacar 50 tablet also contain losartan as their active ingredient.
