Omee 20mg Cap is a proton pump inhibitor (antacid) that contains the molecule omeprazole.

  • Upper gastric bleeding
  • A particular bacterial infection of the stomach called Helicobacter pylori infection where Omee 20mg Cap is used along with antibiotics
  • Excess acid production in the stomach caused by a growth in the pancreas (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome)

Contraindications of Omee 20mg Cap

  • Do not take Omee 20mg Cap if you: Have an allergic reaction to Omee 20mg Cap or other proton pump inhibitors
  • Have chronic heart failure Have reduced levels of calcium and magnesium
  • Have liver diseases
  • Are on anti-HIV medications like nelfinavir
  • Are suspected of having stomach cancer

Omee 20mg Cap passes into breast milk. Yet, if taken at normal doses it is not likely to have any harmful effects on a nursing infant. Lactating women who are breastfeeding can use this after consulting with their doctor.

  • Low magnesium levels warning: Use of this medicine for three months or longer may lower the magnesium level in your body. If you have taken {[name}} for a year, get your serum electrolytes and magnesium tested.

How Does It Work?

Omee 20mg Cap composition reduces the amount of acid secreted by the stomach by inhibiting a cellular-level pump in your stomach called the proton pump, which is essential for acid production.
