Description
Digene gel for acidity and gas relief is a rather tasty way to relieve painful symptoms of acidity. It comes in syrup form with an attractive mint flavour. Digene syrup provides quick and instant relief from gas and acidity. Moreover, this syrup is absolutely sugar-free and can be consumed by anyone experiencing adverse effects of acidity like extreme belching and abdominal bloating.

Ingredients
Each 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls approx.) contains:
- Magnesium Hydroxide I.P. (added as paste) - 185 mg
- Simethicone I.P. - 50 mg
- Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose I.P.- 100 mg
- Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel I.P. (added as paste) - 830 mg
Uses
It can be used at the home or at the office whenever acidity or indigestion strikes.
How to Use
- Adults may take 2 full teaspoons (i.e.,10 ml) after a meal or just before going to bed.
- The dosage for children should be advised by the primary physician.
- Even for adults, it is preferred that a doctor be consulted before beginning a daily course.
Safety information
If the symptoms of gas and acidity persist even after taking a single dose of Digene syrup, then you will need to consult a doctor.
Only consume antacids like this after 1 hour of a meal or immediately when experiencing intense symptoms like heartburn.

Digene might interfere with medicines like aspirin, antibiotics like doxycycline, oxytetracycline, levofloxacin, azithromycin, and ciprofloxacin, anti-asthmatic medicines like albuterol and ipratropium, and anti-diabetic medicines like glipizide.
The medicine can interfere with vitamins like ascorbic acid, cholecalciferol, and ergocalciferol.
Avoid consumption of citrates while taking Digene Acidity & Gas Relief Gel Mint Flavour as it can increase the levels of aluminum
Warnings
Do not consume alcohol while using Digene Acidity and Gas Relief Gel Mint Flavour. Consumption of alcohol can increase the production of acid in the stomach, causing more acidity and heartburn
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before consuming this medicine.
There is no known relation between driving and consuming Digene Acidity and Gas Relief Gel. You should only drive if you are alert.
Digene Acidity and Gas Relief Gel should only be taken after a physician’s consultation if there is any liver impairment
Consult the doctor if there is any kidney disorder, before using Digene Acidity and Gas Relief Gel
