Cnz 2mg Tablets

• As per CDSCO, Cnz Tablet is used for
• Treatment of anxiety disorder
• Treatment of panic disorder
• Treatment of Comorbid depression (depression associated with other mood illnesses)
• Treatment of seizure or epilepsy

• If you’re allergic to any component of the Cnz Tablet, i.e. clonazepam.
• If you are already taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety or sedative medications.
• If you are taking narcotic or opioid pain relievers.
• If you have myasthenia gravis, a condition that causes muscle weakness.
• If you have acute angle glaucoma, a condition characterised by increased fluid pressure in the eyes.
• If you have respiratory depression(slow and steady decline in breathing).
• If you are experiencing sudden mood changes or suicidal ideation.
• If you have liver failure.
• If you have kidney problems.
• If you’ve a history of alcohol or medicine addiction.
• If you have respiratory issues like sleep apnea or asthma etc.

• Dizziness

• Muscle weakness
• Blurred vision
• Memory impairment
• Difficulty speaking
• Increased salivation

Other General Warnings

• You have any allergic reactions after taking Cnz Tablet.
• You have any self-harming thoughts or suicidal ideation.
• You experience any severe side effects persistently.
• Your symptoms do not resolve, or there is a condition worsening.
• You are an older adult over 65.
• You’ve a history of mild or severe liver and kidney disease; this medicine may need a dose adjustment.
• You have withdrawal symptoms like agitation, nausea, tremor, sweating and confusion.
• You’re pregnant or planning a pregnancy during the treatment.
• You are using any ayurvedic or herbal medicines, vitamins, and other health supplements.

• Take the Cnz Tablet as prescribed by the doctor.
• You can take this medicine with or without food or as prescribed.
• Take this medicine on a regular schedule, preferably at the same time every day.
• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not break/crush the tablet or chew this medicine.
• Do not take this tablet with other medications without consulting your doctor.
• Don’t stop taking this medication suddenly, as it may lead to withdrawal side effects.
• Don’t exceed the dosage, even if you can’t feel its effects.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and non-prescription medications, herbal products, vitamins and nutritional supplements, you are taking or plan to take as there is a chance of medicine Interaction. Many medicines can interact with Cnz Tablet, making it less effective or increasing side effects. This includes -
• Interaction with opioid or narcotic pain relievers such as morphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, hydrocodone, tramadol, codeine can increase the side effects like drowsiness.
• Interaction with Antidepressants or mood-elevating medicines like fluoxetine and desipramine can cause increased side effects
• Interaction with antifungal medications like fluconazole, itraconazole, and ketoconazole can reduce the effects of it.

Interactions with food items

• You can continue with the regular diet as food doesn’t influence the effect of Cnz Tablet. However, avoid caffeine-containing foods like cola, tea, coffee, chocolates, etc. It may reduce the ability of this medicine to calm the brain, and the condition may worsen.
