Description
Vageston Vaginal Gel is prescribed for women experiencing infertility, particularly those with an inadequate luteal phase (a hormonal imbalance affecting pregnancy) or those undergoing in-vitro ferti
lization (IVF) due to complications such as blocked fallopian tubes, unexplained infertility, or endometriosis, as long as they have regular ovulation. It is important to use Vageston Vaginal Gel exactly as your doctor has directed. Do not use more or less than prescribed, and avoid using it for a longer duration than recommended. You may be advised to continue using this medicine for a period after your pregnancy has been confirmed. Potential side effects of this medication may include vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge, and itching. If you experience any of these symptoms, and they do not resolve on their own or worsen, please inform your doctor. In rare cases, a severe allergic reaction may occur, which requires immediate medical attention.

- For the treatment of infertility due to inadequate production of progesterone.
- During assisted fertilisation procedure (in-vitro) to help you get pregnant.
Contraindications of Vageston Gel
If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of Vageston Vaginal Gel.
If you are experiencing unexplained bleeding in the vagina.
If you have a blood related hereditary disease called porphyria leading to a build-up of certain chemicals related to red blood cell proteins.
If you have any blood clotting related disorders such as thrombophlebtis, stroke or blockage in blood vessels.
If you have any type of cancer (breast cancer or cancer of genital organs).
If you have or had a missed abortion (your baby has died inside the womb)....

Do not use a double dose of this gel to make up for a forgotten application. If you forget to use Vageston Vaginal Gel on one day, please continue as usual with your normal application schedule on the following day....
