Pirahenz injection contains piracetam. It is an anticonvulsant and neuroprotective medicine. It is used to treat Alzheimer's disease, age-related memory loss and dementia. This injection is given by
a medical professional. The injection dose depends on the severity of your condition and your body's response to it. Before starting the treatment, inform the doctor about your other medical conditions and the medications you are currently taking. - Patients at risk of bleeding should take Piracetam with caution
- Patients with kidney disease should be monitored if taking Piracetam
- This medicine should be taken with caution if a person is on a sodium controlled diet
