Medical Description

Norflox-TZ tablet is used to treat diarrhoea and dysentery caused by bacteria, amoebas, or mixed organisms. The tablet contains norfloxacin, tinidazole, and lactic acid bacillus. This medicine kills the bacteria and protozoa responsible for diarrhoea and also maintains healthy bacteria in the intestine.

It is important to take this medicine exactly as directed by the doctor, in the doses and duration prescribed. You should take it regularly at a fixed time and not skip a dose or consume more than the recommended amount. To be effective, it is essential to complete the entire course of medication, even if you start feeling better within a few days.

Never stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as doing so could worsen your condition. Some other medicines containing norfloxacin and tinidazole are Nor TZ, NDS Norflox TZ and Nordoxin TZ tablets.

Nausea, dry mouth, stomach pain or discomfort, constipation and weakness are a few side effects that you may experience while taking Norflox-TZ tablet. These side effects are mostly temporary. However, if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Norflox-TZ is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor about your detailed medical history and the medicines and supplements you take.
