Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
This medicine shows action by working on the Alpha-2 adrenergic receptor present in the brain and spinal cord, which leads to a reduction in the release of excitatory amino acids like glutamate and aspartate, and reduces the neuronal firing. Thereby gives relief to muscle stiffness or spasm, which ultimately improves pain and movement of muscles.
