  • Acute decompensated heart failure
  • Clinically significant hypotension (low blood pressure)

How Does It Work?

Ivabrad 7.5mg reduces the spontanaeous pacemaker activity of the sinus node which reduces the heart rate.

Directions for Use of Ivabrad 7.5 MG

Ivabrad 7.5mg is to be taken with food. Swallow the entire tablet without breaking or crushing with water. Follow dosage as per your doctor's recommendation.

Interactions of Ivabrad 7.5 MG

Interactions with other medicines

  • Beta Blockers, CYP3A4 inhibitors cause an increase in Ivabradine plasma concentrations which can cause reduction in heart rate and disturbances with condition
  • Use of CYP3A4 inducers can reduce ivabradine levels

Interactions with food items

  • Advise patients to avoid ingestion of grapefruit juice and St. John’s wort.
