Gabanyl Nt 400mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Gabanyl-NT 400 Tablet is a prescription medication used to relieve neuropathic pain caused by nerve damage or compression. Conditions such as diabetes, spinal issues, or other nerve-related disorders can lead to this type of pain. Neuropathic pain is often persistent and difficult to manage, and Gabanyl-NT 400 Tablet helps provide long-term relief.
This tablet combines two medicines: Gabapentin and Nortriptyline. Gabapentin works by calming overactive nerves that send pain signals to the brain, while Nortriptyline acts on the central nervous system to reduce pain perception. Together, they effectively control neuropathic pain, improve sleep, and enhance quality of life.
Gabanyl-NT 400 Tablet should always be taken in the dose and for the duration advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole with water, with or without food, as directed. Do not stop the medication suddenly, as this may cause withdrawal symptoms or worsen your pain. It may take a few days to weeks to experience the full benefits, so continue taking it regularly.
While using Gabanyl-NT 400 Tablet, you may experience drowsiness, dizziness, or reduced alertness. Therefore, avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in activities requiring full concentration until you are aware of how the medicine affects you. Additionally, avoid alcohol, as it can increase drowsiness and side effects.
Before starting Gabanyl-NT 400 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney problems. Also, share details of all medicines and supplements you are taking, as this tablet may interact with them. Taking it under medical supervision will help ensure maximum benefit and safety in managing neuropathic pain.
