Interactions of G 80 MG

Interactions with other medicines

  • Gentamicin increases the effects of ether and other muscle relaxants.
  • Concomitant administration of methoxyflurane can damage the kidneys.
  • Concomitant administration of Indomethacin increases blood levels of gentamicin in newborn babies.
  • Oral anticoagulants and gentamicin can cause clotting problems.
  • Concomitant administration of neostigmine or pyridostigmine can cause the opposite effect to Gentamicin.
  • Concomitant administration of Botulinum toxin increases toxicity.
  • Concomitant administration of Cephalothin, cephaloridine, colistin, vancomycin, viomycin, streptomycin, amphotericin B, cisplatin, or loop diuretics can cause hearing problems or toxicity in kidneys.
