- Generalised anxiety disorder
- Major depressive disorder
- Peripheral neuropathy - damage to nerves of hands and feet
- Fibromyalgia - muscle aches and tenderness
- Osteoarthritic pain - degenerative bone disease
- Musculoskeletal pain - pains in the muscles and joints
- Stress urinary incontinence - involuntary passing of urine due to stress on the urinary bladder
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to duloxetine or mecobalamin
- If you are taking other treatment for depression
- If you have liver or kidney disease
- If you have a heart or lung problem
- If you have a prostate problem
- If you have fits or bipolar disorder
- If you have chronic constipation
- If you have glaucoma – a condition where the pressure in the eye changes
- If you have alcohol or medicine addiction
- Children under seven years of age

- You’ve a history of allergy to any of the active or inactive ingredients in Dulane M.
- You have got liver or kidney disease or any disorder of vision. Your doctor may advise you on certain tests and adjust the dosage to avoid serious side effects.
- You are taking other medicines for depression, anxiety, pain or acidity. Taking them along with may result in serious adverse reactions.
- You feel much better before the completion of the course. Do not stop the medicine till you complete the treatment as advised by the doctor. It may cause symptoms to come back or the development of withdrawal symptoms.
- You develop allergic reactions to the medicine such as rash, swelling of face, tongue, eyes and lips, choking sensation.
Directions for Use
- You should use Dulane M as suggested by your doctor.
- Dulane M can be taken with or without food as it doesn’t affect its absorption and dose levels in the blood.
- Take the capsule as a whole with water or juice.
- The capsule should not be opened up unless swallowing the capsule is not possible due to specific reasons. Consult your doctor if you have difficulty swallowing.
- Take medicine at an identical time daily to avoid missing the dose. It also helps in following the dosage schedule properly.
- Complete the entire course of medicine as suggested by your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
- Other antidepressant medicines of the group called monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as isocarboxazid, phenelzine.
- Certain medicines act as central nervous system depressants, such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, or general anaesthetics.
- Medicines used to reduce nervous tension such as thioridazine, thiothixene, clozapine, chlorpromazine, and risperidone.
- Medicines used for treating high blood pressure such as reserpine, clonidine, guanethidine, alpha methyldopa
- Anticholinergic agents such as phenothiazine, cetirizine, atropine
- Medicines used to treat parkinsonism
- Sympathomimetic medicines such as adrenaline, noradrenaline, isoprenaline, phenylephrine

Interactions with food items
- You can continue with the usual diet or as advised by the doctor. Avoid caffeine while taking this medicine, as caffeine can increase the levels of Dulane M in the body. Avoid taking tobacco while on Dulane M as it can cause a decrease in the levels of the medicine in smokers.
