Medical Description

Cefdiel Capsule is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, airways, tonsils, middle ear and skin infections. Cefdiel contains Cefdinir as its active ingredient. It works by interfering with the synthesis of the cell walls of bacteria, leading to the death of the bacteria responsible for the infection. It is advised to complete the entire course of Cefdiel Capsule. Do not stop taking this medicine even if your symptoms disappear. Take Cefdiel with food to avoid stomach infection.

Uses

Cefdiel Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose or sinuses (such as sinusitis), throat infections (such as tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (such as bronchitis, pneumonia) and skin infections.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to cefdinir or any similar antibiotics, including penicillin or any other ingredients of Cefdiel Capsule.
