Avana 100 Tablet
Description
Avana tablet is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction in adult men. It helps improve blood flow to the male reproductive organ, making it easier to get and maintain an erection during sexual activity. The medicine works only when there is sexual stimulation and does not increase sexual desire on its own.
Avanafil works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5). This action relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow to the male reproductive organ during sexual stimulation, which supports stronger and longer-lasting erections.
The medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It is usually swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or after a meal to reduce side effects. The dose should not be altered or exceeded without medical advice, and it should only be used when sexual activity is planned.
Certain precautions should be considered while using avanafil. Men with heart problems, low blood pressure, bleeding disorders, or liver issues should use it carefully. It should not be taken with nitrates, other erectile dysfunction medicines, or strong antifungal or antiviral drugs, as these combinations can be unsafe.
Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, flushing, nasal congestion, or back pain. Rarely, sudden changes in vision or hearing may happen, and an erection lasting more than 4 hours requires immediate medical attention. Patients should inform their doctor about any other medicines they are taking and seek medical advice if any serious side effects occur.
