Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

  • Zidovudine and Valniche tablet can both lead to lower blood cell counts, which may cause conditions like neutropenia (low white blood cells) and anaemia (low red blood cells). Some patients might not be able to take these medications together at their full strength without experiencing side effects. Consult your doctor and inform him/her about all the medications you are taking.
  • If you are taking probenecid along with Valniche tablet, your healthcare provider should check for signs of toxicity, they will look for any harmful effects from the concomitant use of Valniche tablet and probenecid.
  • For those taking Mycophenolate Mofetil, special care is needed if you have kidney issues, as the levels of this medication and its byproducts may rise, potentially leading to more side effects.
  • Patients should be observed closely for signs of toxicity from the use of didanosine, which can also occur alongside Valniche tablet treatment.

Interactions with food items

You should take Valniche tablet with meals to help your body absorb it better.
