• According to CDSCO, Taloprex Tablet is used:
• In the treatment of the depressive disorder
• In alleviating symptoms of anxiety disorder
• In treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• In relieving symptoms of fatigue, irritability and restlessness in panic disorder

• If you have a known allergy to Taloprex Tablet or other components.
• If you've taken Monoamine oxidase inhibitors within the last Fourteen days.
• If you have liver problems.
• If you've chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
• If you've renal impairment or are on medication for kidney disorders.
• If you are taking Pimozide, then do not take Taloprex Tablet as it can increase the risk of QT wave prolongation.
• If you have closed-angle glaucoma.
• If you've epilepsy or are receiving electroconvulsive treatment.
• If you have a low heart rate and symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting.

• Delayed ejaculation
• Confusion
• Drowsiness
• Tiredness
• Anorgasmia
• Low sexual desire
• Nausea
• Convulsions

Other General Warnings

• You must use this medicine with caution in the elderly and bedridden patients because of the danger of side effects.
• You must take this medication with caution if you have high or low blood pressure. In higher doses, Taloprex might produce a drop in blood pressure.
• You must use this medication cautiously in individuals with personality disorders or Organic brain syndrome.
• You experience sudden mood swings or suicidal thoughts.

• Taloprex Tablet pills should be taken at the same time each day.

Interactions with other medicines

• If Amikacin is coadministered with Taloprex tablet, you may have nausea or vomiting, increased or reduced urine, abrupt weight gain, and fluid retention.
• If Furosemide and Taloprex medicines are taken together, you may have nausea or vomiting, increased or reduced urine, abrupt weight gain, and fluid retention. This interaction is more likely to happen in older people who already have kidney disease.
• If the patient has received tTaloprex tablets, avoid taking the cholera vaccine during the previous 14 days.
• If Estradiol and Taloprex tablets are taken together, the desired effect of contraceptive tablets will not be achieved. Escitalopram reduces the effectiveness of estradiol, leading to contraceptive failures.
• When used simultaneously, Chloramphenicol and Taloprex’s anticipated effect of Taloprex will not be achieved.

Interactions with food items

• Grapefruit juice is documented to interact with this medication by amplifying the side effects.
