Medical Description
Sumo tablet is a pain-relieving medication used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever. It helps relieve different types of pain, such as back pain, headache, toothache, ear pain, joint pain, and menstrual pain. It is a combination medicine containing paracetamol and nimesulide. Common side effects of Sumo tablet include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and elevated liver enzymes. If any of these side effects worry you or worsen, please consult your doctor. Your doctor can recommend ways to avoid or mitigate these adverse effects.
Nodard Plus tablet, Nobel Plus, Nicip plus tablet and Nimsaid P also include paracetamol and nimesulide. Sumo tablet work by blocking the production of a chemical substance (prostaglandin), which the body produces, causing symptoms like pain and swelling. It also act on the area of the brain responsible for controlling temperature, helping to control fever.

Sumo tablet is used to treat headaches, mild migraines, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and painful menstruation in affected individuals.
Contraindications of SUMO STRIP OF 15 TABLETS
- If you are allergic to paracetamol, Nimesulide, or other pain-relieving medicines.
- If you have a history of liver damage due to painkiller use like Nimesulide.
- If you have a history of stomach bleeding, ulcer and inflammation of the stomach lining.
- If you have problems related to blood clotting and bleeding disorders.
- If you have impaired liver or kidney function or existing heart-related issues.
