Medical Description

Sumo tablet is a pain-relieving medication used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever. It helps relieve different types of pain, such as back pain, headache, toothache, ear pain, joint pain, and menstrual pain. It is a combination medicine containing paracetamol and nimesulide. Common side effects of Sumo tablet include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and elevated liver enzymes. If any of these side effects worry you or worsen, please consult your doctor. Your doctor can recommend ways to avoid or mitigate these adverse effects.

Nodard Plus tablet, Nobel Plus, Nicip plus tablet and Nimsaid P also include paracetamol and nimesulide. Sumo tablet work by blocking the production of a chemical substance (prostaglandin), which the body produces, causing symptoms like pain and swelling. It also act on the area of the brain responsible for controlling temperature, helping to control fever.

Sumo tablet must be taken as directed by the doctor, in doses, and for the duration prescribed. It should be taken at a fixed time. Do not skip a dose or consume more than that recommended by the doctor.
