Medical Description
Nicip Plus tablet is a pain- and fever-reducing medicine. It is used to treat painful conditions such as headache, fever, period pain, and dental, joint, and ear pain. The tablet contains a combination of nimesulide and paracetamol as active substances. It works by preventing the action of these pain and fever-causing chemicals.
Take this medicine at the exact dose and duration your doctor recommends. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. This medicine for more than 10 days is not recommended unless prescribed by your doctor. Taking more than the daily dose of this medicine may cause severe liver damage or allergic reactions like swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rashes.
Other medicines containing nimesulide and paracetamol are Nimucet Gold tablet, Nobel Plus tablet, Nodard Plus tablet, Sumo tablet, and Somee tablet.
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to its components. Before taking Nicip Plus tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. Also, inform the doctor about all other medicines and supplements you take. This medicine is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.

- If you are allergic to paracetamol, nimesulide, other pain-relieving medicine or other ingredients Nicip Plus tablet.
- If you have a history of liver damage induced by anti-inflammatory medicines like (Nimesulide).
- If you have or had a history of stomach bleeding, ulcer and inflammation of the stomach lining.
- If you have problems related to blood clotting and bleeding disorders.
- If you have impaired liver or kidney function or severe heart failure problems.
- If you consume alcohol too often or you have an addiction or substance use disorder.
- If you are suffering from symptoms of flu-like fever, chills, shivering.
- If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

- You experience loss of appetite, nausea, stomach pain and weakness. These could be signs of serious liver damage.
- If you develop black, tarry stools or vomit blood, immediately stop the medicine.

- You are suffering from liver, kidney, or heart disease.
- You have a history of stomach or intestine ulcers.
- You are expected to go through any upcoming surgery.

- Nicip Plus should be consumed as a whole with a sufficient amount of water.
- It should be preferably taken after food to avoid stomach-related discomforts.
- It is advised to take this medicine for a short duration of time to avoid side effects.

- Nicip Plus tablet treats inflammation and discomfort in people with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, mild migraines, muscle pain, tooth pain, and/or painful menses.
- Nicip Plus Tablet should be used cautiously in case of liver problems due to the increased risk of severe side effects.
- Nicip Plus is recommended for short-term use only. Do not take more than the daily dose of Nicip Plus tablet, as it may affect the liver or cause allergic reactions.
- You should inform your doctor if you have experienced asthma, rhinitis or hives after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs in the past.
- Talk to your doctor if you have suffered from alcoholism in the past.

Overdose
- Overdose of Nicip Plus may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach discomforts, stomach bleeding, skin rash, fever and chills. Overdose of this medicine may result in serious liver damage.
- In case you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Interactions with other medicines
- To avoid any interaction, tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are taking or might take.
- Taking Nicip Plus with steroids can increase the risk of getting stomach bleeding and ulcers.
- This medicine may interfere with the action of blood thinners like warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding.
- Concomitant use of this medicine, along with vomiting medicines like domperidone and metoclopramide, is not recommended.
- In particular, if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for brain-related disorders.
