Niftran 100 mg capsule is an antibacterial medicine. It is used for the treatment of urinary tract infections. Urinary tract infection is a common infection that happens when microbes enter the urethra. It is characterized by a burning sensation or pain while urinating. Niftran 100 mg capsule consists of nitrofurantoin as its active ingredient. It has a bactericidal action, i.e., it works by inhibiting vital biochemical processes in bacteria. Take Niftran 100 mg capsules in the exact dose and duration as suggested by your doctor. Complete the entire course of antibiotics as suggested. While taking this medicine you should drink plenty of water or other fluids to stay hydrated and practise good personal hygiene. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and about your detailed medical history.
