Medical Description

Montek LC tablets are used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis. These symptoms may include a runny or stuffy nose, airway blockage, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic reactions. It contains a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine, which belong to the anti-allergic class of medicine. It works by blocking the release of chemical substances responsible for producing allergic symptoms.

Headaches, dry mouth, and dizziness are common side effects of taking Montek LC. However, these side effects are temporary and will resolve on their own. If any of these side effects worsen, please contact your doctor immediately. Some other tablets containing montelukast and levocetirizine are Telekast L, Montina L, Odimont Lc, Montair LC and Monticope tablets.

Montek LC tablets should be taken as directed by the doctor, in the correct doses, and for the exact duration as prescribed. Swallow them with a glass of water, with or without food. Your doctor may advise you to take them, preferably at bedtime.
