Migril Tablets
Migril Tablets Description
Migril Tab is used to primarily relieve headaches like migraine. Ergotamine, cyclizine, and caffeine are the active components of the Migril tablet. Although the exact aetiology of migraine episodes
is unknown, it is considered that the throbbing pain of migraine headaches is caused by the enlargement of blood vessels in the brain. Ergotamine works by narrowing the blood arteries in the brain, which decreases the pain. Ergotamine is an ergot alkaloid. Ergotamine stimulates serotonin receptors in the brain, which are involved in mood regulation. Serotonin, a natural chemical, binds to these receptors and causes blood vessels in the brain to constrict. Ergotamine replicates serotonin's function by activating serotonin receptors directly in the brain. This constricts the blood vessels, relieving migraine headache agony. Take Migril Tab as per your doctor’s prescription. Don’t abruptly discontinue taking this medicine as this may cause side effects. Do not self medicate or give this medicine to anyone else with similar symptoms, as this may lead to harmful impacts.
