Lobazam Md 10mg Strip Of 10 Tablets

• As per CDSCO, the Lobazam Md tablet is used for the following:
• The management of the symptoms associated with acute (sudden) or chronic (long-term) anxiety states
• The additional treatment in patients with refractory epilepsy or a seizure disorder

• Lobazam Md tablet is contraindicated in the following cases:
• If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to any component of Lobazam Md tablet
• If you have been diagnosed with severe clinical depression or are currently under treatment for it, consult your doctor first
• If you are using other similar medications like diazepam, it can cause serious side effects
• If you are expecting or planning for pregnancy
• If you notice any skin-related issues after using them, discontinue this medicine immediately. It can lead to Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (both are serious skin conditions)
• If you have a history of substance abuse or addiction to alcohol
• If you notice an increase in suicidal Behavior and Ideation
• If you are below two years of age

• Lobazam Md tablet has the following side effects:
• Tiredness
• Drooling
• Change in appetite
• Nausea
• Joint pain
• Difficulty in speaking or swallowing
• Problem with coordination

Other General Warnings

• You are using birth control pills. Lobazam Md medicine reduces their effects.
• You experience any skin allergies or skin conditions after taking this medicine.
• You have suddenly stopped taking it and are experiencing withdrawal symptoms such as a stuffy nose, sweating, vomiting, nausea, etc. The medicine needs to be gradually tapered.
• You have planned for a surgery or a dental procedure.
• You are over 65 years of age. Lobazam Md tablets can cause side effects due to slow metabolism.
• You have severe kidney or liver impairments.
• You have a history of substance addiction, as this is a habit-forming medicine.
• You are having any herbal or ayurvedic supplements
• You suffer from myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness) or sleep apnea.

• Take the Lobazam Md tablet exactly as directed by your doctor.
• Do not exceed the dosage of Lobazam Md tablet, even if you cannot notice its effects.
• Take Lobazam Md with or without consuming food.
• Do not take Lobazam Md with other medications without consulting your physician.
• Do not take the medicine if the package is broken.
• Do not suddenly stop taking Lobazam Md medication, as it can have adverse effects.

Interactions with other medicines

• Lobazam Md tablet interacts with other medicines that manage depression, such as sertraline, fluoxetine, etc., and cause side effects.
• Do not use Lobazam Md tablets with opioid pain relievers, allergy medication, cold or cough medication, sleeping pills, muscle relaxants, etc., that increase drowsiness.
• This medicine reduces the effects of certain antifungal medications.
• Lobazam Md tablets can also reduce the effectiveness of hormonal birth control, increasing the chances of pregnancy.

Interactions with food items

• Try to avoid grapefruit and its juice while using Lobazam Md tablets. They can raise the levels of this medicine in the body and cause side effects.
• Also, avoid excess caffeine products or drinks, as they can exacerbate the condition for which you are using Lobazam Md tablets.
• Lobazam Md tablet does not interact with food. It can be taken before or after a meal.
