  • Your child is suffering from psychiatric illness or has any brain-related problems.
  • Your child is suffering from a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria.
  • Your child is unable to empty the bladder or has difficulty in urination.
  • Your child experiences any side effects after taking this medicine.
  • L Dio-1-M Kid tablet is not meant for relief from acute asthma. Use your inhaler for asthma relief in an acute attack.

How Does It Work?

  • Montelukast blocks certain natural substances called leukotrienes which may cause allergies. It reduces swelling, relaxes airways and helps to make breathing easier.

A: No, this medicine is not addictive.

A: No, it will not help in an acute attack of asthma. It is advised to use appropriate rescue medicine like inhalers given by your doctor during an asthma attack. Keep administering this medicine as well and do not stop it abruptly. Do not ever self-medicate your child, a child's body may react differently to medicines as compared to adults.
