- Cough with pink coloured sputum
- Regular check-ups are required if you are on this medicine for long
- After stopping the medicine, you should not conceive for at least 6 months. as it affects sperm and egg production
- Avoid taking the medicine for longer than prescribed as it can be fatal
- If you are taking methotrexate for long term, regular health check-ups are recommended

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Using Folitrax 25mg Tablet 4'S with certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen, aceclofenac, acemetacin, and diclofenac can lead to fatal bone marrow supression. It could also lead to aplastic anemia, where the body stops making new blood cells, and gastrointestinal toxicity
- When used with radiotherapy, it can lead to cell death in soft tissues and bones
- It is not safe to take the medicine when you have recently taken live vaccines
- It adversely interacts with cyclosporin that is used for transplantation
Interactions with food items
- Methotrexate has no known interaction with food.
