Contramal 50 mg capsule is used for treating pain. Its composition is made of tramadol 50 mg. Tramadol belongs to a class of medicines called opioid analgesics or narcotics. It is a medicine used for

If you are allergic to any component of this medication
If you are using other opioid painkillers, sleeping pills, antidepressants, or antipsychotics.
If you have liver failure or other conditions that affect the liver’s functioning
If you have severe kidney-related disorders
If you are suffering from breathing issues like asthma
If your body has been in shock, where sufficient blood is not pumped to all body parts
Do not give this to children below 17 years of age, as it contains tramadol; an opioid medicine contraindicated in children.
