Ceftas 200 MG Description

Ceftas 200 tablets contain cefixime, an antibiotic used to fight bacterial infections in many parts of your body, such as your ears, nose, throat, sinuses, lungs, urinary tract, and reproductive organs. It's also used against typhoid fever. Like most medications, Ceftas 200 can have side effects, including mild nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. If these bother you or don't go away, talk to your doctor. This antibiotic works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing the infection.

It's crucial to take Ceftas 200 exactly as your doctor prescribes, even if you start to feel better. Finishing the full course of antibiotics is essential to ensure the infection is completely cleared and prevent antibiotic resistance. To avoid stomach upset, it's best to take the tablets with food. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections such as infection of the ear.
Infection of nose or sinuses (such as sinusitis).
Infection of the urinary system (such as bladder and kidney infections).

Infection of chest and lungs (such as bronchitis, pneumonia).

Contraindications of Ceftas 200 MG

If you are allergic to cefixime or any other cephalosporin antibiotics including penicillin or any other ingredient of Ceftas 200 tablet.
