Megalis 20 Tablet

• If you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredient present in Megalis 20 tablet.
• If you are taking medicine known to cause vasodilator effects, such as amyl nitrate or nitrates.
• If you are taking riociguat medicine used to treat arterial blood pressure.
• If you have a known history of any heart problem, such as heart failure.
• If you had a stroke in the past 6 months, a heart attack in the last 90 days, or breathlessness or chest pain during sexual activity.
• If you have a known history of liver disorders, low blood pressure, stroke or heart blockage.
• If you have a known history of eye problems like retinitis pigmentosa (a genetic disorder that may cause loss of vision).
• If you are unsure whether you are taking this medicine, please carry the medicine packet with you to the clinic.

Other General Warnings

• You are a patient with known history of heart problems.
• You have any physical deformites of the genital organ penis.
• You experience sudden vision loss or hearing loss.
• Your erection lasts for more than 4 hours after taking the medicine.
• This medication is not recommended for use in women.
• You have kidney or liver problems.
• Megalis 20 tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.

• Store in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
• Keep it away from children and pets.
• Dispose of any unused or expired medicine properly. Do not flush the medicine.

• You can take Megalis 20 Tablet with or without food.
• Avoid heavy alcohol consumption, as it may reduce the effectiveness and increase the risk of dizziness.
• Grapefruit juice may interfere with the medicine, so use it with caution.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems, a deformed penis, blood cell disorders, or a history of pelvic surgery or prostate removal.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy after taking the tablet.
• Only take Megalis 20 Tablet when needed, and never more than once a day.
• Megalis 20 tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Megalis 20 tablet work or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction. Also, you should inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled.
• Concomitant administration of Megalis 20 tablet along with medicines containing nitrates leads to severe hypotensive effects (low blood pressure).
• In particular, if you are taking medicines to treat heart failure, anti-HIV medicine, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for a brain-related disorder.

Interactions with food items

• You can take Megalis 20 Tablet with or without food, as food does not affect its effectiveness.
• Avoid excessive alcohol, as it can lower your blood pressure, cause dizziness or fainting, and reduce your ability to get an erection.
• Grapefruit juice may interfere with how the medicine works by affecting its metabolism, so it should be used with caution.
• Always check with your doctor if you're unsure about any food or drink interactions.
