Megalis 20 Tablet
Description
Megalis 20 tablet contains tadalafil, a medicine commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection) and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) in men. It works by improving blood flow to the penis, which helps in getting a firm erection when there is sexual stimulation. In men with prostate enlargement, it can also help relieve urinary symptoms such as difficulty in passing urine.
This medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. You can take it with or without food, but do not change the dose or frequency on your own. It is important to remember that this tablet does not cause an erection by itself; sexual arousal is still necessary for it to work effectively.
Some common side effects may include headache, flushing, blurred vision, muscle or back pain, upset stomach, nausea, and mild respiratory infections. These effects are usually temporary and mild, but if they become severe or do not go away, you should consult your doctor for advice.
Megalis 20 tablet should not be taken with medicines called nitrates, which are often used for chest pain, as this combination can be dangerous. It is also not suitable for people with severe heart or liver disease, recent heart attack or stroke, or very low blood pressure. Always inform your doctor about your medical history and other medicines before starting this tablet, so it can be used safely.
