Medical Description
Montas-L tablet is a medication used to treat the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as a runny and congested nose, respiratory blockages, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and other allergic reactions. It is a combination medicine that contains montelukast and levocetirizine. Montas-L works by preventing the release of chemical substances, such as histamines and leukotrienes, which are responsible for causing allergic symptoms.
Common side effects of Montas-L tablet include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. Contact your doctor immediately if you are concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. Don't self-medicate or recommend this medicine to others. Inform your doctor before taking this medicine if you have kidney disease. Telekast L, Montina L, Odimont Lc, Montair LC and Monticope tablets also contain a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine.

- If you are allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine or montelukast or any other ingredients of Montas-L tablet.
- If you have kidney problems or undergoing dialysis.
- If you are unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).
