• If you are allergic to clindamycin, nicotinamide (vitamin B3) or any other components of Clinmiskin gel.
• If you have experienced diarrhoea after using an antibiotic.
• If you have a history of inflammatory bowel disease.

Other General Warnings

• You have a history of any allergic skin reaction
• You experience excessive dryness, irritation and peeling of skin
• You have a history of inflammation of the colon or antibiotic-associated diarrhoea
• You are allergic to any components of this gel
• You should avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth

• Clinmiskin gel is meant for external use only and you should use it as prescribed by your doctor
• Apply it on the skin surface that is free from cuts, wounds and injury
• Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the infected area of the skin
• Wash your hands before & after using this medicine
• In case your eyes come in contact with this gel rinse your eyes with clean water immediately

• Clinmiskin gel is used to treat bacterial infection and inflammation of the skin, such as acne, pimples, whiteheads blackhead, and prevents acne scars.
• This medicine is meant for external application and should not be swallowed.
• Do not use more than the prescribed amount of Clinmiskin gel, or do not use it for longer periods than your doctor recommended.
• Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. If your eyes come in contact with this gel, then rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
• Before starting Clinmiskin gel, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, inform your doctor about all other medicines that you are using and your complete medical history.
• Avoid exposure to sun rays after applying the gel.
• Clinmiskin gel can cause skin burning, itching, and redness. However, not everyone who uses this gel has these side effects.

How Does It Work?

• Clindamycin is an antibiotic agent which is widely used for treating various bacterial infections of the skin. It inhibits the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria.
• Nicotinamide acts as an anti-inflammatory agent and reduces the swelling and redness associated with acne. It also regulates the amount of acne-causing oil being produced by the oil glands in your skin and helps in lightening the marks due to pimples, acne and other skin problems.

Interactions with other medicines

• Clinmiskin gel is applied externally on the skin, thus it is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally. However, it may interact with other topically applied creams and gels. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical gel or cream
• There is limited information available on the interaction of Clinmiskin gel with other medicines. However, as this gel contains clindamycin & nicotinamide, any interaction seen with these two components when taken alone may occur with this combination
• You need to be cautious if you are taking oral anticoagulants like Warfarin, Acenocoumarol and Fluindione as this medicine may interact with them. Regular monitoring of blood coagulation parameters is recommended
