Medical Description
Acnestar gel is a topical preparation used for the management of acne, pimples, whiteheads and blackheads. It contains a combination of clindamycin and nicotinamide as the main ingredients. Clindamycin present in Acnestar Gel is an antibiotic and nicotinamide or niacin is a form of vitamin B3. It also helps reduce acne scars and prevent acne.
Faceclin gel, Glocin gel, Nioclean gel, Clinsol gel and Femcinol A gel also include similar medications as Acnestar gel. Acne is a common skin condition that develops when oil and dead skin cells block the hair follicles. It may develop whiteheads, blackheads, pimples or acne cysts. Bacteria on the skin may cause inflammation and infection, leading to more severe acne. Acne is more common in teenagers, but anyone can get acne.
You may experience a few side effects of Clinsol gel, such as skin dryness, itching and a burning sensation. Usually, these side effects are temporary and go away with time. However, you should report to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

- If you are allergic to clindamycin, nicotinamide or any other ingredient of Acnestar Gel.

- If you have experienced diarrhoea upon antibiotic use.

- Use Acnestar Gel as prescribed by your doctor.
- Clean your skin with a mild water-based cleanser before applying this Gel.
- Apply gently on the affected area by placing a small amount on your fingertips.
- Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the infected area of the skin.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this Gel rinse your eyes with clean water immediately
