Medical Description
Faceclin gel helps reduce acne, blackheads and whiteheads and also helps in preventing acne and reducing acne scars. It contains clindamycin and nicotinamide as active ingredients. Clindamycin is an antibiotic and nicotinamide (also known as Niacin) is a form of vitamin B3.
Clindamycin and nicotinamide are also active ingredients in Clinsol gel, Glocin gel, Nioclean gel, Acnestar gel and Femcinol A gel. You may experience a few side effects of Clinsol gel, such as skin dryness, itching and a burning sensation. Usually, these side effects are temporary and go away with time. However, you should report to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
Faceclin gel is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. Do not pop acne, as it may lead to bacteria & pus spreading on the skin can lead to the spread of acne and acne scar.
