Zofer MD 4 Tablet

• If you are allergic to ondansetron or any of the other ingredients of Zofer MD.
• If you are taking a medicine called Apomorphine, which is used to treat the loss of muscle control and muscle stiffness in Parkinson's disease.

• Headache
• Constipation
• Sensation of warmth

Other General Warnings

• You are allergic to similar medicines like Granisetron or Palonosetron.
• You have severe constipation or have a blockage in your stomach as this medicine can affect the food transit time through the digestive tract.
• You had or have heart problems like heart failure or irregular heartbeats.
• You have any liver problems.
• You have a condition of salt imbalance in your blood or dehydration or you are experiencing fluid loss.

• Store it in the original packaging.
• Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
• Do not flush unused or expired medicine in the toilet or pour them into the drain.

• Zofer MD 4 tablet is used to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting induced due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
• Take this tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• If you experience any side effects, such as headache, constipation, or dizziness, talk to your doctor.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before taking Zofer MD 4mg tablets.
• Inform the doctor about your complete medical history, including all medications you are presently taking, before using this medicine.
• Try to consume little, healthful snacks throughout the day rather than large, filling meals. Drink water often to help prevent dehydration.
• Tell your doctor if you are dehydrated, have a salt imbalance in your blood, or are losing fluids.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Zofer MD 4 tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time. Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Be careful if you are taking medicine like Amiodarone for uneven heartbeats or Arrhythmias. In particular, if you are taking medicines such as anti-hypertensives, antibiotics, antifungal medicines, strong painkillers like apomorphine, tramadol, or brain-related medicines like citalopram etc.
• Other medicines that should be used with caution are anti-epileptic medicines like phenytoin, carbamazepine & anti-tTB medicines like rifampicin, as they may affect the action of Zofer MD 4 tablet.
