Z Pred Eye Drops 5ml
Description
Z Pred Eye Drops 5ml is a combination of two medicines, Gatifloxacin (an antibiotic) and Prednisolone (steroid). It is used in managing inflammation of the eye because of conditions like eye injury,
conjunctivitis, uveitis, chemical burns, or radiation. Z Pred Eye Drops 5ml is also used for preventive purposes when there is a high risk of getting an infection in or around the eye, such as following eye surgeries. Gatifloxacin stops the growth of any existing bacteria by inhibiting their cell division, and Prednisolone blocks certain chemical messengers that cause inflammatory symptoms like pain, redness, and swelling. Common side effects of Z Pred Eye Drops 5ml include burning of eyes or stinging, eye irritation, watering, headache, eye pain, blurring of vision, or droopy, red and puffy eyelids. If any severe reaction occurs that doesn't subside, you need to visit your ophthalmologist. You can rinse your eyes with cold water meanwhile. These drops cannot be used in existing chronic infections which are untreatable with it, with uncontrolled diabetes, or immunosuppressive therapy.
