Tramazac is a prescription medication containing tramadol's active ingredient. It works as a painkiller and is indicated in moderate to severe acute pain cases. Tramazac should only be used for as
long as it has been prescribed. Continuous long term use can lead to habit formation. It can also cause withdrawal symptoms on trying to stop the tablet. It should not be discontinued abruptly after chronic use.

- According to CDSCO, Tramazac tablets can be used to manage moderate to severe pain.
- It is used for acute and chronic pain.
Contraindications of Tramazac 50 MG
- If you’ve an allergic reaction to any component of the Tramazac tablet.
- If you are already using similar or different opioid pain relievers, sleeping pills, antidepressants, or antipsychotic medications.
- If you have liver failure or other conditions that affect liver function.
- If you have bleeding from the stomach or intestine or perforation in the digestive tract.
- If you have altered movement of the intestine, like paralytic ileus.
- If you are suffering from breathing issues like asthma and other lung conditions.
- Your body has been in shock, and sufficient blood is not pumped to all body parts.
- This tablet should not be given to children below 17.

How Does It Work?
Tramazac tablet contains tramadol as its main active ingredient. This painkiller acts on the opioid receptors in the brain and central nervous system. These receptors block the transmission of pain signals from nerves in the brain to the rest of the body.
It also increases the production of norepinephrine and serotonin, the chemical messengers responsible for reducing pain. Its action resembles that of endorphins....
Directions for Use of Tramazac 50 MG
- Tramazac tablets should be taken as prescribed by your physician.
- It’s recommended to take this medication on a regular schedule. Taking the tablet at the same time every day is advisable to get the optimal effects and reduce the chances of side effects.
- Swallow Tramazac tablet as a whole. Don’t crush, chew or break this tablet.
- Abrupt stoppage of the medication can cause withdrawal side effects. Consult your doctor before stopping this medication.
- Inform your doctor regarding other medications you may be taking to review and prevent any drug interaction associated effects.

Interactions with other medicines
- MAO (monoamine oxidase) inhibitors can lead to serious side effects if taken with Tramadol.
- Antiviral medicines (medicines used for HIV like ritonavir, nelfinavir)
- Antifungal medicines like ketoconazole can affect the metabolism of the medicine and can interfere with the excretion of medicine.
- Muscle relaxants, benzodiazepines and sleeping pills can increase the feeling of drowsiness if taken with Tramadol.
- Medicines taken for nausea or pain can increase the sense of dizziness.

Overdose
Tramazac overdose can cause stomach pain, lightheadedness, fainting, vomiting, seizures (fits), low blood sugar levels, sweating, cardiac arrest, lethargy, low blood pressure, yellow skin and eyes (liver problems), confusion, and loss of consciousness. In case of a suspected overdose, immediately rush the patient to the nearest tertiary care centre for emergency management as it is life-threatening....
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose of Tramazac tablet, take it just when you remember. If the duration missed is lengthy, and it’s almost time for the next dose, it is recommended to skip the missed dose and get back to the regular schedule. Don’t double the dose of the tablet....
