Tenoclor 50 tablet is an antihypertensive medication. It contains a combination of atenolol and chlorthalidone as active substances. Tenoclor 50 tablet is used to manage high blood pressure. Take Tenoclor 50 tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Store Tenoclor 50 tablet in a cool and dry place below 25°C.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Overdose

The symptoms of overdose of Tenoclor 50 tablet include low blood pressure, wheezing and coughing.

If you missed any dose of Tenoclor 50 tablet, take it as soon as you remember.
If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

How Does It Work?

Tenoclor 50 tablet contains a combination of atenolol and chlorthalidone as active substances.
Atenolol works by decreasing the heart rate, lowering blood pressure and the strain on the heart.
Chlorthalidone prevents the reabsorption of sodium and chloride by blocking the sodium/chloride symporter. This reduces the plasma and extracellular fluid volume, lowering blood pressure.
