Other General Warnings

• You have type 1 diabetes
• You have any pre-existing medical condition such as liver or kidney problems, any kind of heart problems, etc.
• You have diabetic ketoacidosis (a serious complication of diabetes), and symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, sleepiness, tiredness, excessive thirst, confusion, metallic taste in the mouth, and rapid weight loss. Immediately contact the doctor.
• You are on certain medications like water pills.
• You experience urinary tract infection after taking this medicine.
• You have a history of low blood pressure or are taking medications for it
• It is advised to use a physical method of contraception instead of oral contraceptives, as it may alter the efficacy of oral contraceptives.
• This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age

• Reniva 100mg tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Reniva 100mg tablets in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat.
• Keep the medicine away from children and pets.

Overdose

• Symptoms of an overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, gas, dizziness etc.
• If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

• If you forget to take a dose, it should be taken as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
• In this case, you should skip the missed dose and take the remaining dose as normal.
• It would be best if you do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
