Redotil 100 MG Description

Redotil capsule is used for the treatment of acute diarrhoea (sudden diarrhoea which lasts for less than 2 weeks). It contains racecadotril as an active ingredient. Redotil capsule works by reducing the secretions of the gastrointestinal tract and thereby stopping diarrhoea.

Redotil capsule is not meant to be used for diarrhoea associated with antibiotic use or any other conditions. It should not be used for more than seven days. If diarrhoea persists for more than 7 days, consult your doctor. Avoid taking it if you have diarrhoea with blood or bacterial infection, causing diarrhoea.

Other medications that contain racecadotril as an active ingredient include Enuff 100 capsule, Zedott 100 capsule, AD 100 capsule, and Lee Dott 100 capsule. Inform the doctor about the other medicines you are taking before starting with Redotil capsule. While taking Redotil, you should avoid excess spices, oils, and sugars in food.
