R Don Plus Tablets
R Don Plus Tablets Description
R Don Plus Tab is an antipsychotic medication primarily prescribed to treat schizophrenia and manic episodes (irritable mood, suicidal thoughts). Schizophrenia is a brain condition affecting how the
brain processes information. The condition makes you lose touch with reality. You may see, hear, or believe things that are not true. The R Don Plus Tab consists of two medicines, Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone belongs to a class of drugs called ‘atypical antipsychotics. Risperidone decreases dopaminergic and serotonergic activity in the brain, which reduces symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorder. Trihexyphenidyl belongs to a class of medicines called antimuscarinic drugs, which act on the nervous system to correct some of the imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and reduce some side effects caused by antipsychotic medication (Risperidone). R Don Plus Tab is available in the form of oral tablets that are dissolved in water and taken two times per day. Your doctor will determine your dosage based on your health and condition. In some cases, R Don Plus Tab can cause side effects like nausea, constipation, dry mouth, weight gain, sleepiness, orthostatic hypotension (the sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), and nervousness. Usually, these side effects of R Don Plus Tab do not require medical attention and gradually disappear over time. However, if these side effects persist longer than usual, you should consult your doctor.
