Pulmonext 10mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Pulmonext 10 MG Description
Pulmonext tablet is prescribed for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition characterized by high blood pressure in the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the lungs. It helps improve quality of life and exercise capacity and delays disease progression. Pulmonext tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels in the lungs by blocking endothelin, a substance that causes vessel constriction. This action reduces blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries.
It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disease or known allergy to the medication. Common side effects include peripheral oedema, nasal congestion, sinusitis, and flushing. Dizziness may also occur, affecting activities that require mental focus. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing, with or without food.
Consult your doctor regarding all current medications as Pulmonext tablet may interact with other drugs. Potential interactions with other medications should be evaluated by a healthcare provider. No specific food interactions are known, but consult your doctor for personalized advice. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Dispose of unused medication responsibly. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Do not double the dose.
