- • Difficulty falling asleep
- • Waking in the middle of the night
- • Waking too early
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to zolpidem or any of the other ingredients of Pedo 10mg Tablets .
- If you have a condition called sleep apnoea, where you stop breathing for short periods at night.
- If you have a condition called myasthenia gravis that causes severe muscle weakness.
- If you have breathing difficulties.
- If you have liver problems.
- If you have a mental illness (psychosis).
- If you are under the age of 18.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Pedo 10mg Tablets?

No, alcohol should not be consumed while on treatment with Pedo 10mg Tablets as it may increase the side effects of this medicine, like sleepiness.
Other General Warnings
Talk to your doctor if
- You have a history of dependence on alcohol or drug/illicit substance.
- You have liver or lung disorders.
- You have depression or have a history of any other mental illness.
- You have recently taken zolpidem or other similar medicines for more than four weeks.
- You develop suicidal thoughts after taking this medicine.
- You are taking other medicines like central nervous system depressants or other medicines that increase zolpidem in your blood.

Directions for Use
- Take Pedo 10mg Tablets as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Pedo 10mg Tablets works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Pedo 10mg Tablets may increase the effect of medicines used for treating mental problems (antipsychotics), medicines used for treating depression (sertraline, bupropion, desipramine), medicines used to treat moderate to severe pain (narcotic analgesics), medicines used for treating fits/seizures (anticonvulsants), medicines used in surgery (anaesthetics), medicines to calm or reduce anxiety or for sleep problems (hypnotics) and medicines used for treating allergies (antihistamines like chlorphenamine or promethazine)....
- The use of this medicine together with opioids (used to treat pain and some cough medicines) increases the risk of drowsiness, difficulties in breathing and coma and may be life-threatening.
- Medicines used for treating fungal infections, such as ketoconazole, can increase the chance of getting side effects when taken with Pedo 10mg Tablets .
- Rifampicin (an antibiotic used for the treatment of tuberculosis) can reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.
Storage and disposal
- Store Pedo 10mg Tablets in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Dosage
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose of Pedo 10mg Tablets include sleepiness and fainting. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
If you missed any dose of Pedo 10mg Tablets , take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one....
