Contraindications of Orazep 2 MG
- If you are hypersensitive or allergic to lorazepam or other benzodiazepines and other inactive substances present in the medication
- If you have narrow-angle glaucoma, a condition in which the iris of the eye bulges forward and narrows the drainage angle. Orazep 2 mg can worsen the condition.
- If you have a condition called myasthenia gravis, in which there is rapid fatigue of muscles that are under voluntary control.

The active component of Orazep 2 mg Tablets is lorazepam, a benzodiazepine. Like other benzodiazepines, this medication works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger in the brain known as gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
