Medical Description
No Scars cream is used to treat moderate to severe Melasma, which causes dark and discoloured patches on the skin. It can also help lighten the skin tone and reduce the appearance of senile lentigines, which are dark spots or age spots caused by sun exposure in older individuals. The cream contains three medicines: mometasone, tretinoin, and hydroquinone. It works by suppressing the metabolic process responsible for pigmentation, resulting in improved skin tone. However, it's important to note that this process is reversible.
Hhlite cream, Melamet cream, Melalite Xl cream, Lomela cream and Elosone Ht cream also contain the same composition.
Do not use No Scars cream for a prolonged duration unless prescribed by your dermatologist, as it contains a steroid. Avoid sun exposure immediately after applying this medicine. Use this cream exactly as the doctor instructed. Before using No Scars cream, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
Do not apply to open wounds or weeping areas. Before using, wash and dry the area gently. Apply a thin film to the affected area and rub it gently and thoroughly until the medication vanishes. Avoid direct sunlight or use sunblock or protective clothing to prevent repigmentation.
