Nipam 10 MG Description

Nitrazepam is a prescription medicine used to treat insomnia (difficulty in falling or maintaining sleep) and epilepsy (fits). Nipam Tablet acts by enhancing the inhibitory effect caused by GABA or g

amma-aminobutyric acid (a neurotransmitter). It thus helps control epilepsy and, through its sedative and anxiolytic action, decreases the time required to fall asleep. This tablet should not be taken with strong painkillers like Tramadol, Fentanyl and Methadone as it may cause difficulty breathing and profound sedation. You should avoid taking alcohol during the course of your treatment. This tablet is strictly contraindicated in children. This tablet is not used for treating psychiatric disorders. The continuous use of this tablet can lead to physical and psychological dependence and has the potency to be abused, misused or overdosed. Chronic consumption of this tablet increases the risk of dependency. Due to Nipam Tablet's muscle relaxation property, this tablet should be used with caution in the elderly as they risk developing hip fractures if they fall. You may experience certain side effects such as drowsiness, headache, blurred vision, vertigo, restlessness, difficulty passing urine and backouts.
